Pointsbet Canada Expands iGaming Footprint With Bede Technology Deal

In collaboration with Bede Gaming, PointsBet Canada has introduced a new iCasino content aggregation and bonusing platform after a competitive selection process.

Multi-Year Agreement

The statement was made in conjunction with the company's fourth anniversary as an Ontario-licensed igaming operator. When that new open market opens on July 13, PointsBet Canada is scheduled to debut in Alberta.

Powered by Bede Gaming, PointsBet Canada's new iCasino platform is currently operational in Ontario. Players can access a wide selection of games from well-known companies, such as Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, and Light & Wonder, thanks to the open-API interface.

Digital Casino Content Boost

“Our strategy emphasizes delivering outstanding digital content that creates exceptional player engagement,” said Scott Vanderwel, Chief Executive Officer of PointsBet Canada. “I’m excited by the innovative tools we now have available with Bede. This partnership positions us strongly in Ontario and prepares us for future growth across additional Canadian markets.”

PointsBet Canada Head of Casino Brooke Hilton discussed how Canada has developed into a significant casino-first iGaming business in an interview with Casino.org in March.

"Everyone in this industry understands the need to evolve, innovate and challenge what is expected,” she said. “And so, over the past year, we’ve really been investing in the casino side of the technology, features, promotion, mechanics and things to that degree. So, we’re really going to elevate our product to be able to go after more casino-first players. That’s in line with what the market is telling us.”

Launch in Alberta

The two businesses have reached a multi-year agreement that establishes a common roadmap for that launch in Alberta.

“We are thrilled to partner with the PointsBet Canada team, and eager to support their ambitious goals in Canada,” said Colin Cole-Johnson, Bede Chief Executive Officer.

“Our Partnership Model means that we mobilize to support the strategies of our customers. We’re thrilled to already be demonstrating this through the successful launch of this new casino solution. Bede remains committed to providing stable, secure and pioneering technical solutions to the North American regulated gaming markets.”

The scalable architecture of Bede Gaming's technology allows for unique operating tools and third-party software integration.
